Today, we venture into the northern part of Tehran, where the city’s history and natural beauty come together in a stunning tableau. Our morning starts with a visit to the snow-capped Tochal Mountains. Here, we’ll hop on a cable car and ascend into the skies, offering you a panoramic view of Tehran like no other.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the Sa’ad Abad Palace Complex, a sprawling estate that was once the residence of Iran’s royal family, including Mohamad Reza Shah and his father, Reza Pahlavi. The complex is a cultural treasure trove, boasting seven palaces set amidst 180 hectares of lush gardens.

Today, we’ll set sail for Hormuz Island, a gem of the Persian Gulf. Our ferry departs at 09:00 AM and returns at 14:00 PM, giving us ample time to explore.

Our first stop is the Salt Goddess, a natural salt sculpture that’s a sight to behold. Then, we’ll head to Rainbow Valley, aptly named for its vibrant, multi-colored soil.

The Valley of the Statues is next, a place where nature’s artistry takes on surreal forms. Finally, we’ll visit Turtles Beach, where if we’re lucky, we might spot some of these gentle sea creatures.

Our day in Shiraz begins with a visit to the Nasir-al-Molk Mosque, commonly known as the Pink Mosque. This architectural marvel is renowned for its stunning stained glass windows that cast a magical glow inside the mosque.

Next, we’ll explore Narenjestan Garden, also known as Qavam House. This 19th-century garden is a symphony of color and fragrance, and it was once the residence of the Qavam family, one of the political figures of Fars province.

Built by Darius I and added to by subsequent Achaemenian kings, this ancient ceremonial capital is a testament to a civilization long past but not forgotten.

Just a short drive away, we’ll find the rock tombs of Naqsh-e Rustam, another UNESCO World Heritage site. These tombs are the final resting places of Darius and his successors, carved into the mountainside and standing as a solemn reminder of the empire’s grandeur.

On our way back to Shiraz, we’ll make a brief stop at the Quran Gate, a historic gate that was once the entrance to the city. We’ll end our day with a visit to the Tomb of Hafez, a place that pays homage to one of Persia’s greatest poets.

Today, we embark on a 550 km drive from Shiraz to Yazd. We’ll start our day with a visit to the awe-inspiring Persepolis Complex. This ancient ceremonial capital is a testament to a civilization long past but not forgotten.

Along the way, we’ll make a stop at Pasargadae, the first capital of the Achaemenian Empire and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Here lies the tomb of Cyrus the Great, the founder of the Persian Empire.

Upon arrival in Yazd, you’ll immediately notice its ancient skyline, dominated by minarets and wind towers. It’s a perfect introduction to a city that’s like no other.

Day 11: Exploring Yazd - The City of Wind Towers Overnight Stay: Yazd

Detailed Itinerary:
Yazd is a city like no other, and today we’ll explore its unique features. We’ll start with a visit to the Towers of Silence, where Zoroastrians used to leave dead bodies until the mid-1900s. Next, we’ll visit the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, home to a sacred flame that has been burning for over 1,500 years.

Today, we’ll drive from Yazd to Isfahan, making stops at Meybod and Naein. In Meybod, we’ll visit the ancient caravanserai, a roadside inn where travelers could rest and recover. As we drive, we’ll pass through areas with picturesque pistachio fields, offering a unique backdrop to our journey. Next, we’ll stop at Naein to visit one of the oldest mosques in Iran, the Naein Jameh Mosque.

Upon arrival in Isfahan, we’ll explore the Armenian quarter, Julfa, and visit the Vank Church, an Armenian Cathedral that’s a testament to the city’s diverse religious history. We’ll also take a pleasant stroll along the famous bridges of Isfahan: Si-o Se Pol & Khaju Bridge.

Transfer & Departure:
